InterPrac adds Dynamic Asset Portfolios to Approved Product List

Listed Australian Financial Services Group, InterPrac, has added Dynamic Asset Managed Account portfolios to their Approved Product List (APL).

InterPrac's mission is to help financial advisers build profitable, sustainable businesses. Through their AFSL dealer service they provide integrated and practical service solutions for adviser's and their clients with flexible support and value-added services. The approach aims to provide advisers with a wide range of solutions that best meet their clients immediate and longer-term financial goals.

The addition of Dynamic Asset portfolios boosts the range of InterPrac dealer solutions with dynamic, actively managed portfolios that each target specific risk-return outcomes. The portfolios are consistent with the approach taken by many institutional investors and others that are seeking to capitalise on today's changing market and economic conditions.

Jerome Lander, Portfolio Manager, Dynamic Asset, talks about changing markets and the risks of the traditional portfolio management approach.

"Seasoned investors all know the market is at an inflexion point. For example, inflationary pressures are something to watch, be concerned about, and be somewhat positioned for. So, what are we doing about it? We think it's essential to be genuinely diversified. The old 60/40 portfolio that everyone's been running for so long with some success, will really not work very well if we see inflation coming through.

His views are consistent with many institutional investors turning to a real assets and greater diversification. As traditional risk mitigating asset classes become more correlated with equities, a more active and asset-specific approach is needed.
